This Maya 2020 rig of a 70’s-era dalek from the Doctor Who TV series has 4K PBR maps set up for rendering in Arnold 5. Two separate Maya rigs are optimized for animating specifically for UE4 and Maya. Two different texture options are included: classic and Union Jack. The rig has controls for the head (rotate), eye stalk (rotate), arm (rotate/telescope) and gun (rotate/extend “flower”) as well as the master scale/translate control. The head indicators can be animated to blink using the Emission channel of its material.

Additional FBX files, including a low- and high-poly mesh, can be easily animated either as they are or by adding a simple rig in other 3D apps and attaching the 4K PBR maps.

Contents:
- Low (6,135 polygons, 7,307 verts) and high poly models (13,023 polygons, 14,661 verts) in FBX format

- 4K PBR metallic/roughness maps — base color, emissive, height, metallic, normal, roughness, AO.

- Two texture options: classic, Union Jack

- Normal maps for OpenGL and DirectX

- Maya scene files (.ma, .mb) with high-poly rig with controls for arm/extension, gun, eye and head rotation. Two rig versions in separate files are optimized for animating for Maya renders (dalek_Maya_rig.mb) or for UE4 (dalek_UE4_rig.mb) export. Arnold materials are set up using the PBR maps.

- Asset pack for UE4 v4.23 including materials for use with FBX animations generated and imported from the Maya rig.
